🌳 Civil Protection and Environmental Protection Unit

The unit combines disaster preparedness and response (Civil Protection) with the enforcement of environmental regulations to protect natural resources and control pollution.

Environmental MonitoringMonitor the quality of the local environment, including air, water, and soil, and track pollution sources and activities.
Ecological ProtectionManage and protect municipal forests, green spaces, and parks; oversee reforestation and urban greening initiatives.
Nuisance ControlEnforce environmental regulations on noise pollution, air quality, and the illegal discharge of harmful effluents, often issuing warnings or penalties.
